The Lake Tahoe Report

The Lake Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition (LTEEC) has teamed up with KOLO-TV News Channel 8 to present a weekly series titled “The Lake Tahoe Report,” that explores environmental issues at Lake Tahoe.

Video Online: The first 45 segments are available online on the UNR Tahoe website at http://www.tahoe.unr.edu/media/media.aspx. These low resolution version are viewable with Windows Media Player and are great for individual viewing. This website is under development, and the streaming mechanism may not work for all users. Copies are also available on video tape or DVD.

Teach Tahoe: A compilation of selected video segments into four topics (Watersheds and Water Quality, Erosion Control and BMPs, Native and Non-Native Plants, Fire and Defensible Space) is now available. This Teach Tahoe compiliation works well with the Teach Tahoe lesson plans and for other educational uses. Contact LTEEC at 775-832-4150 to request a video tape.
