SWEP Volunteer Orientation

Are you interested in working with local students? Do you have a passion for science and the environment? If so, come join our team of volunteers at Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships (SWEP). SWEP is a non-profit organization in the Tahoe-Truckee region dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship by connecting students to their local environment through comprehensive watershed education, and service learning projects. SWEP partners with local schools and community groups, to provide hands-on,meaningful environmental science learning opportunities for K-12 students. SWEP’s programs reach over 5,000 students annually!

Join us at our Volunteer Orientation event on Tuesday, January 14th from 5:30-7:30. The Volunteer Orientation will be held in the board room at Truckee Donner Public Utility District. TDPUD is located at 11570 Donner Pass Road Truckee, California. Come learn more about SWEP, SWEP programs, and how you can be involved in this award winning organization.
