SWEP is excited to announce the newest member of our team. Please welcome Jenna Granger!!
Jenna’s path to SWEP maybe unusual but it prepared her for the meaningful and sometimes, wild days of environmental education. Growing up in the Tahoe Basin, Jenna has always had a connection with the earth. She started young educating her friends about avoiding plastic bags and plastic water bottles; this early connection with promoting change led her to the University of Santa Cruz to earn a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. Jenna left college with a strong desire to serve and improve the world. This led her to teach a yoga-based wellness program in some of the toughest high schools in North America. After 5 years, Jenna longed for the tall trees and deep blue and returned to Tahoe to start her own health coaching business where she supported people in creating and sustaining healthy habits as well as learned about content creation and marketing. She then dove deeper into the content marketing world, which landed her a job for a sustainability-minded travel company as their content and marketing coordinator. After sometime she felt the call of stewardship, the outdoors and teaching once again and could not be more delighted to be working for SWEP in environmental education, waste management and content creation.
