Junior Naturalist Summer Camp

Nature, Art & Adventure

SWEP’s Junior Naturalist Summer Camps are designed to inspire your child’s connection to the natural world.  Each day, children will learn about plants, animals and stewardship through environmental science activities, service learning projects, art projects, nature journaling, interactive games, hiking, biking and exploring the forests, streams, and meadows of the Lake Tahoe region.

Each day will begin at the yurt at the base of the Tahoe Cross Country Center at 925 Country Club Dr.  Tahoe City, California.  From there, we will hike or mountain bike to reach nearby meadows, creeks and beaches.  Your child must have a geared mountain bike and be able to ride 4 miles on dirt trails.
